Opposition to State Water Commission Nominee

Opposition to State Water Commission Nominee

A non-partisan opposition group held a press conference on April 16, 2012 to voice concerns over the nomination of Maui land appraiser Ted Yamamura to the Hawaiʻi State Commission on Water. Opponents believe Mr. Yamamura is not qualified for the position and has potential serious conflicts due to his employer’s clientele which include parties to on-going legal cases over water rights on Maui.

As of this weekend, Mr. Yamamura’s employer, ACM Consultants, pulled their website down. A Google cached page shows ACM’s client list. CLICK HERE TO SEE ACM CLIENTELE
