The public is invited to join the Department of Parks and Recreation and guests at the Kualoa Regional Park for “A Special Event for a Day At the Beach,” from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, September 8, 2012. The event will be held at Camp Site A, Kualoa Regional Park, located at 49-479 Kamehameha Highway.
Activities available for the entire family include canoeing, swimming, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, and carnival games. The event is sponsored by AccessSurf Hawaii, a Paralympic Sport Club, and the Department of Parks and Recreation’s Therapeutic Recreation Unit. The public is advised to bring picnic food, drinks and snacks.
