“Yelp Helps” He`eia Fishpond and others

Paepae o Heʻeia August 7, 2012 0

Honolulu is full of outstanding local businesses, but perhaps none are as worthy of acclaim as our cities’ non-profit organizations. That’s why, throughout the month of August, the public is invited to Yelp Helps: a series of group volunteer projects, and a yelptastic kick-off party that promises to offer the most kokua-action of the summer!

In true Yelp fashion, they are kicking off Yelp Helps by teaming up with over twenty of the city’s most dynamic organizations and throwing the biggest, raddest, volunteerism-centered soiree in the 808!  Paepae o He`eia, along with about 20 other awesome non-profits, will be at the party to share information, sign up volunteers, and maybe even give away some free shwag!  Along with rubbing shoulders with lots of do-gooders, there will be free food and drink to liven up the party!

DATE/TIME: Saturday August 11 (7 pm-9 pm)
LOCATION: Hawaii Foodbank (2611 Kilihau Street)
COST: Free w/ confirmed RSVP & suggested donation of canned goods or $5 to the Hawaii Foodbank
